Saw this off the internet, liked it and reposted it here for all of you to discuss amongst yourself.
Ironically, it deals with the internet and its' ability to break music early...much like the net
does to editorials....but I digress.[From XXL's online publication]

Season Premiere
Richmond, VA's Nickelus F drops Season Premiere, a mixtape that comes off the heels of his concept release, RARE, a collection of songs over Portishead songs. This is no concept mixtape. Nickelus F has worked with some of the hottest artists in Hip hop and he garners more than just an inquisitive ear. The former Nick Fury continues to boast slick punchlines and this mixtape continues Nick's fury, enlisting VERY few guest appearances to accompany Nick through 15 tracks. Check out joints like "All Lat" and "Carpe Diem." Copy and paste the link into another window, and enjoy Nick's latest!

The Bar Exam 3: The Most Interesting Man by Royce Da 5'9"
If you haven't been waiting for this, then let me be the first to tell you, you've been asleep. One quarter of the Slaughter is back to his Bar Exam game. The first series, a mash with DJ Premier, was a heater that spawned a connection between the Texas-born producer that birthed Royce's lastest LP, Street Hop. The second Bar Exam featured DJ Green Lantern, but this joint links Nickel with Whoo Kid, and spits out a 29-track burner. As much tough talk and gun play as one probably could fit in one mixtape, Royce continues to deliver hot lines and Detroit-bred lyricism. The King of Detroit is joined by his Slaughterhouse crew; Joell Ortiz, Crooked I and Joe Budden, as well as Bun B, Black Milk, Elzhi, and Trick Trick. No need to review it, check the rep, copy & paste the link into your browser, and judge for yourselves...
